This page is created
for pictures and letters dedicated solely to Mother's that have
lost Daughters.
A
chance to celebrate the daughter’s we’ve lost.
For
the women who have lost daughters, I can not begin to measure
of pain you have endured.
I do have to say that I am not a licensed or professional mental
health therapist of any kind and can only speak from personal
experience. I am however, very experienced in the grieving process
and know a great deal about loss.
It’s only right that you have the same opportunity to acknowledge
your daughters. I imagine that your heart is the same as mine
when it comes to still considering yourself a mother, just as
I am still a daughter.
If you haven’t already, maybe you have always wanted to write
a letter to your daughter. If you wish, you could write a letter
expressing your joyous experiences and memories with your daughter.
You could describe her personality or write about your loss. Or
you could write a remembrance letter to be posted with her picture.

Do not stand at my grave and weep-
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
